About Dr. Carol

Carol Langlois “AKA Dr. Carol” is a former University Dean and Associate Provost who transitioned to Edtech in 2015 where she served as senior leadership for Hackbright Academy till 2017. She is also a published author and playwright who has written for many publications such as Psychology Today, Teen Vogue, and Forbes.  Carol has extensive research and training in working with females on self-esteem and empowerment issues and has designed her own technique to help women manage their inner critic and overcome roadblocks in tech such as imposter syndrome and confidence gap.

“Trying to maneuver the landscape of your everyday life is tough. Without tools, strategies, or resources it’s nearly impossible. I see my system called RAISE (Resilience, Attitude, Independence, Self-respect, and Empowerment) as your toolkit along with meditation, visualization and mindfulness. Together,  we will work through this system to identify and clear those roadblocks potentially holding you back in your career. “

Dr Carol holds a Doctorate in Education and Leadership from the University of San Francisco as well as a Masters in Psychology from Fairfield University and a BS in Psychology from Salem State University.
